Baby equipment rental - how does it work?

To make your baby gear reservation online in a few clicks:


  1. I select start and end rental dates, then the 1st product I'd like to rent. I click on "Rent" ; as pop up shows, enter the 1h preferred time range for delivery and pick up and any other usefull information you'd like to share. Redo this step for each product. After full selection is done, I click on "My cart".

  2. in the cart, I create an account: enter delivery address, eventually a invoice address if different from the delivery one. I select my delivery method if several are proposed (Paris and suburbs only).
    Note
    : in case of difficulties at this step, you may also create an account BEFORE adding products to the cart (click on the "My account" icon and "Registration").

  3. I proceed to payment. You then receive an automated email, this is NOT a confirmation of your order.

  4. within 24h (working days), we'll contact you back to confirm product(s) availability, delivery and pick-up details.

  5. we deliver the booked baby items at agreed delivery time slot ; at end of rental period, we'll pick up baby items at agreed time slot.

Our answsers to your questions about baby equipment rental:

Products

We offer a wide range of products (pushchairs/strollers, high chairs, baby loungers, car seats...even toys). Nearly 30 different products are available.

Our products are all from well-known international brands (Babyzen, BebeConfort, Maxi Cosi, Babymoov...) and comply with European standards. The equipment rented is purchased new and kept in very good condition.

Instrucions for use are supplied systematically.

Our website manages products availability. If you can add the product to the cart = it is available ! 

After each baby equipment rentals, our equipment is carefully inspected and disinfected with cleaning products used in nurseries.

Unfortunatly, we are not able to offer this product for rental. All baby gates complying with French/EU regulations need to be set up by screwing their support. Temporary usage is then impossible.

Delivery and collection

In Ile-de-France (Paris and surrounding cities), delivery and collection is done by ourselves, Monday - Sunday, between 7:00 am till 9:00 pm.

You do let us know your preferred delivery and pick up slot while booking online.

While confirming your reservation, we confirm delivery and pick up slots if available or proposed you a different time slot.


Important: for delivery / pick up at /from your address, someone needs to be present during the full time slot confirmed at reservation confirmation.


We do not deliver outside Ile de France/Paris area
(but will be happy to share partners details if any).

We do not serve Disneyland Paris area.

We do not serve cities with postcodes starting with 77 / 91.
For cities with postcodes starting with 93, 94, 95, 78, we do serve within 20kms from Colombes (some cities in these departements are not served).

We do deliver and pick up in Paris CDG, Orly airports and Paris train stations.

For Ile de France region (=Paris + suburbs -postcodes starting with 75, 92, 93, 94, 95, 78), our delivery rates (including pick-up ie. 1 delivery + 1 pick-up) are:
* €20 including VAT
* €20 extra is charged for delivery and/or pick up in Paris airports & train stations.

Rate includes delivery AND collection.


We do deliver and pick up in Paris CDG, Orly airports and Paris inner city train stations.

We do not serve Disneyland Paris area.

We do deliver and pick up baby items on appointment at Roissy Charles de Gaulle CDG airport, Paris Orly airport and any Paris inner city train stations.

For a delivery in airport, don't forget to let us know your arrival time and flight number.
For a delivery at train station, please share your train details and arrival time.

We do charge an extra 20 € for delivery and/or collection in Paris airport (CDG and Orly) & train stations.


We do not deliver any other region train stations nor airports. 

Yes. Make sure you provide detailed delivery and collection addresses in delivery/collection form.

Need a stroller for 3 weeks and a car seat for 1 week only? Our website allows to rent several produts with same start and en date. Please place a 2nd order for different dates, we'll recalculate delivery and pick fees.
We can organize as many deliveries and/or pick ups as you'll need.
We do charge 10 € per extra delivery and/or pick up, to be paid at delivery or pick up in Paris and surroundings.

baby’tems does its best to deliver in the time range you selected at order time. If we encounter any difficulty, baby'tems contacts you as early as possible to find together a appropriate solution.
We do deliver and pick up on a 1h time range to your address. Please ensure someone is present during the full agreed time range. In case of difficulties, please inform us as early as possible, we'll do our best to adapt, depending on our possibilities.

Making a reservation

We speak English and French.

Our website allows online booking at least 3 days in advance. If you want to make a reservation within 3 days or even a last minute booking, please email or call us. 

Baby equipment rentals and purchased products amount are payable by card only.

In case card payment was denied when placing your order online, please contact us by email with your rental needs. We'll create a manual payment link for you.

We'd like to work on trust with you, in respect of the baby items. We thus do not request deposit. In case of damage, broken parts, loss or theft, we are confident we'll find a agreement on the amount to reimburse to baby'tems (in any case, it cannot exceed value of new baby item). 

Please contact us directly by phone or email. We'll answer you as quickly as possible (usually same day, in anyway no more than 24h maximum - opening days).
For urgent request on week-ends, do not hesitate to contact our mobile number.

You can do it, provided that the products are not booked immediatly for another family immediatly after your rental. You inform us at least 48h before planned pick up date so that we can organise a new pick up appointement. You pay us the amount for the additional period at pick up by card or cash.

Yes, of course.
Up to 3 working days before scheduled delivery date, we reimbursed the full rental amount.
Less than 3 working days before scheduled delivery date, baby'tems shall keep the full amount.

Date in grey (and cannot be selected) = baby'tems is closed for holidays and does not deliver nor pick up on that day. We're happy to deliver in advance (if someone can accept delivery) and pick up when re-opening (if someone can remit products after rental end date). Please contact us directly by email. 

If you encounter difficulties to register (an usual difficulty is linked to phone number...):
- try to register before adding products to cart - this solves most of difficulties
- enter a "fake" French number (+33 6 00 00 00 00) - you'll share your phone in comment / extra info or later by email
- send us an email with your full request: full contact details, delivery & pick up address, products you'll like to rent, start & end dates (all details as requested in the online order). If rental is possible, we'll enter the order for you, you'll receive a email "Pay your rental" (to be processed within 4h).
