The equipment


What equipment can I hire?


We offer a wide range of products (pushchairs/strollers, high chairs, baby loungers, bottle warmers, sterilisers, even toys… ). Nearly 30 different products are available at baby’tems.

Our products are all from well-known brands (Graco, Chicco, Babymoov, Babysun …) and comply with European standards. The equipment rented is new or only a few months old.
Instructions for use are supplied systematically.

How do you clean the equipment ?


After each baby equipment rentals, our equipment is carefully inspected and disinfected. We use Opaline products (website in French), which products are used in nurseries.

What is the difference between Graco Junior Mini and Chicco Proxima car seats ?



Only minor differences. You can rent indifferently one or the other of these products, their fonctionalities are similar. If one model is not available for the requested period, we'll suggest you the other model (in no case, we'll deliver a different model without informing you).

I'm looking for a baby gate to rent



Unfortunatly, we are not able to offer this product for rental. All baby gates complying with French/EU regulations need to be set up by screwing their support. Temporary usage is then impossible.

Why do you offer products for sale?



Just to make your stay easier! We provide nappies/diapers, wipes, baby food...as well as potties, bibs, meal set, bath mat...all the basics required for a maximum safety and comfort!

Can I buy a product I hired ? what are the terms?


Of course! Contact us, we'll make you a quote and will deduct rental amount from the price.


Orders and delivery

What languages do you speak?



We speak English and French.

How to order?



Select first baby item, select start and end dates. Exact rental cost is calculated (excluding delivery and collection fee). Add the product to the cart by clicking "I rent".

Select next products the same way. Don't forget to also add supplies and accessories if you need any.

Once you've added all products in the cart, register. At this stage, you'll let us know delivery and collection details. Delivery and collection fee are calculated in your cart.

Confirm each step (delivery and collection details, payment details).

You pay for your order.

Within 24h (working days), we'll confirm you product availability together with delivery and collection informations and will detail following steps (especially deposit).

Few days before delivery, we'll come back to you to finalize your delivery and organize deposit payment.

Our website allows online booking at least 7 days in advance. If you want to make a reservation within 7 days or even a last minute booking, please email or call us.

I'd like to make a last-minute rental, how to process?



Please contact us directly by phone or email. We'll answer you shortly (but no more than 24h maximum - opening days).

I've entered my start and end rental dates, but cannot see any price. What happens?


Our booking system is sometime a bit delicate...Make sure:
-you've used the cliquable calender to select start and end date (or at least that you've used the dd-mm-yyyy date format)
-your rental period lasts at least 3 days and is for 30 days maximum (for longer periods, please email us)
-the start date is in minimum 7 days from now
You should then be able to book online. If not, please email us.

What payment ways do you accept?



Baby equipment rentals and purchased products amount are payable by card, Paypal, or cheque cashable in France.

Deposit can be made by cheque cashable in France or cash (at delivry for delivery in Ile-de-France or in advance for delivery in other regions) or card (in advance, by phone) or Paypal (in advance ; we'll reimburse it after you've returned us material).
Please provide a valid identifcation card with for any payment by cheque.

Am I certain I'll be delivered on scheduled time?



baby’tems does its best to deliver in the timeslot you selected at order time. If we encounter any difficulty, baby'tems contacts you as early as possible to find together a appropriate solution.

What if I'd like to hire baby equipment longer than planned?



You can do it. You inform us at least 48h before planned pick up date so that we can organise a new pick up appointement. You pay us the amount for the additional period at pick up, by cheque cashable in France or in cash.

Can I cancel my order?



Yes, of course.
Up to 5 working days before scheduled delivery date, we reimbursed the full rental and purchased products amount.
Less than 5 working days before scheduled delivery date, baby'tems will keep 15,00 €. We reimburse you the amount for the purchased products.

Where do you deliver and how much does it cost?



We deliver everywhere in France. However conditions vary for Ile de France region and other regions of France.

For Ile de France region (=Paris + suburbs -postcodes starting with 75, 92, 93, 94, 95, 91, 77, 78), our delivery rates (including pick-up) are:
* €18 including VAT for any order for less than €100, delivered within the Ile-de-France region (=Paris + suburbs -postcodes starting by 75, 92, 93, 94, 95, 91, 77, 78)
* free of charge for any order in excess of € 100 including VAT (rental costs plus product purchases).

For other regions, rates are calculated according to order weight. Amount is confirmed in your cart, after you've provided delivery and collection address(es).
Rate includes delivery AND collection and is constant wherever the address (outside Ile de France/Paris area).
As an indication, delivery and collection rate is 39,00 € for a travel cot ; 78,00 € for a travel cot + high chair.

We currently do not deliver to Corsica nor outside France.

Do you deliver in train stations and airports?



We do deliver in Paris area train stations and airports.
All baby items can be delivered on appointment at Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport, Orly airport and any Paris area train stations.
For a delivery in airport, don't forget to let us know your arrival time and flight number.
Delivery in airport or train station is done with no extra delivery fee.

We do not deliver any other region train stations nor airports.

Can delivery and collection be done at different addresses?



Yes. Make sure you provide detailed delivery and collection addresses in delivery/collection form.

How are delivery and collection processed?



In Ile-de-France (=Paris + suburbs -postcodes starting by 75, 92, 93, 94, 95, 91, 77, 78) delivery and collection are processed by our own services, Monday - Sunday, 7:00 am - 9:00 pm.
In delivery /collection form, you choose your preferred slots. We'll confirm these within the order confirmation or propose another time slot if needed. We anyway do our best to fit with your requirements.
If you have a special delivery schedule need (arrival in a rented appartment for example), please add it in the comment area of the reservation form. We'll do our best to find an appropriate arrangement that fits your needs.

In other regions
, delivery and collection are processed by our appointed carrier TNT.
Delivery is done Monday - Friday (larger cities can be delivered on Saturday), in the morning before 1:00 pm. Smaller cities/villages can be delivered in the morning or begining of the afternoon.
You can check conditions of delivery directly on tnt.fr (Cliquez-Envoyez area).
If not present at delivery or if TNT can not reach your address, TNT will leave the box to a Relais Colis (a shop in your neighborhood) and will notify it to you in your mailbox, by email or SMS (on French numbers only).

Collection is done Monday - Friday, between 2:00 and 6:00pm. Smaller cities/villages are collected in the morning.
Collection can not be done in a Relais Colis.
No collection on week-ends.

We are currently not able to delivery nor collect from train station nor airport (outside Ile de France/Paris area).


Discounts and promotions


I have a promo code, what are the applicable condition?


Except if clearly stated, all our promo codes are applicable on baby equipment rentals only, exclusive of delivery and collection fees.
Some promo codes do apply to specific dates only and/or under certain conditions. If so, these are detailled on the website they are created specifically for and/or on this page.
Promo codes don't apply to products we sell.

I have a promo code but see "0" in my cart. Is my code working?



Yes! You certainly use a "a gift offered to baby with your rented items" code. Gift will be added to your order confirmation by our services and be added to your rented baby equipment delivery.

This discount is NOT applicable for any baby equipment rentals reservation placed on babytems.com, starting during Paris area French school holidays periods, long week-ends and month of May in France ie:
